Law Student Allison Thornton Wins Our First Annual Legal Scholarship
Our attorneys are proud to announce that future Virginia Law School student Allison Thornton is the winner of our $1000 Clark Law Scholarship. Each future law student that applied to our scholarship was asked to submit an essay answering the following question: What are your current hopes for your career after completing law school?
Allison’s essay along with her excellent academic performance impressed us. What stood out was her passion for helping the less fortunate. It was clear in her essay that she has a passion for helping others and intends to use the law to further that passion. In her own words she stated “After law school, I hope to embark on a career that focuses on the issues from the ground up and ensures that the less fortunate can experience personal change and improvement.”
We wish Allison the best of luck into the future and we hope that you have a very promising legal career. Congratulations!
We plan to offer this scholarship again next year and hope that we can receive even more applications. The deadline for the 2015 Scholarship will be July 15th, 2015 and a winner will be announced a month later on August 15th, 2015. You can find additional information, application requirements, and criteria at our newly updated Clark Law Office Scholarship page. For our 2015 scholarship, we are expanding the criteria selections making the scholarship available to any student who will be attending law school in 2015 along with a new essay question.
