David M. Clark is a personal injury trial lawyer who has handled complex personal injury cases all over The State Of Michigan and throughout the United States for the last 35 years. During his career, he has handled many cases for his injured clients and has received large trial verdicts and settlements not only in Michigan, but also Texas, Florida, Ohio, and South Carolina.
He has practiced as a personal injury attorney in Lansing for over 40 years and has dedicated his life to helping Mid-Michigan injury victims. His most notable case was a motorcycle accident case against the United States Air Force and his client was awarded $2.75 million and the passenger was awarded $850,000 for their injuries by a jury trial verdict
He started his career as a city prosecutor and an insurance defense attorney. This gave him valuable trial experience early in his career and working for the insurance companies for three years gave him an invaluable insight into how insurance companies operated the judicial system. He did not like what he saw.
David became passionate about representing those who were injured instead of defending the insurance companies that had billions but would not give a dime to those that were hurt, injured, or maimed in accidents. He saw how these large companies used their power and money to avoid their responsibility and to escape accountability and justice.

Matthew R. Clark – Owner and Lead Attorney
Matthew R. Clark is the Lead Attorney and Owner of The Clark Law Office, where he represents individuals and families across Michigan who have suffered serious injury or loss. His practice focuses on complex personal injury and wrongful death litigation involving automobile, truck, and motorcycle accidents, as well as medical malpractice, premises liability, and other catastrophic injury cases.
Matthew personally handles every stage of litigation, from case evaluation and discovery through trial and appeal. His trial experience and commitment to preparation have led to significant recoveries for clients, including a $4.75 million wrongful death settlement against a national delivery company, a $2.3 million auto accident settlement in Eaton County, and a $1.6 million medical malpractice settlement for a client suffering from cauda equina syndrome. These results reflect his dedication to holding negligent parties accountable and achieving justice for Michigan residents.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business and his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. During law school, he received the Jurisprudence Award for Legal Writing and Research and was one of a select group chosen to participate in the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, an intensive program dedicated to developing real-world trial advocacy skills.
Before founding The Clark Law Office with his father, David M. Clark, Matthew clerked for the Honorable Judge Jordan at the 54B District Court and gained additional litigation experience with Clark and Chip LLC. His early courtroom exposure and mentorship under experienced trial lawyers continue to shape his approach today.
Outside of the courtroom, Matthew is an active member of The Catholic Lawyers Guild and a devoted husband and father of four. He enjoys salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, coaching youth basketball and baseball, and reading in his personal library.
